Mr. Jyoti Prakash Gadia
Being the Founder and Managing Director of Resurgent India Ltd., Jyoti have spearheaded Resurgent’s growth.
He has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Over the years, he has been closely associated with the CEOs of highly successful mid market companies, as an advisor on business strategy and capital raising.
He holds to his credit educational degrees of CFA, CA, CS, MBA (Finance) and AICWA. His core competence is in the field of corporate finance and management consultancy.
Jyoti likes to spend his lighter moments playing badminton and cricket.
Mr. Kavish Kumar Gadia
Kavish paved way for equity and advisory practices at Resurgent India. With Masters in Finance from IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Kavish has been a part of founding teams and has lead execution of business plans at various organizations.
At Resurgent India, he has laid the foundation of everything from service offering design, a world class team, deal-ideation, client management to execution strengthening.
He brings on board a much needed direction for an efficient business module.
Mr. K K Gupta
K.K. Gupta brings on board a plethora of knowledge in executing the complicated debt deals with 40 years of experience in the banking sector.
Apart from a bachelors degree in economics and an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) in finance, K.K. Gupta has been honored with various awards including All India Award for Deposit Mobilisation, Housekeeping and Export Performance for Extra Large Branch during his workspan.
At Resurgent India he acts as a mentor for our entire team. He handled the corporate and industrial credit portfolio of the exceptionally large branches, zonal office, corporate office for more than 30 years.
He is a certified associate of Indian Institute on Bankers.
Mr. N K Maity
N.K. Maity has worked as DIF (Director of Institutional Finance) & Special Secretary at Department of Finance for Government of West Bengal.
He retired as Managing Director for WBIDFC (West Bengal Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation) after serving them for 9 years. During his tenure with DIF and WBIDFC, Mr. Maity was closely associated with the banking system and was a part of a number of committee set by RBI (Reserve Bank of India) & GOI (Government of India).
His leadership and distinct perspective on financial matters has always given Resurgent India an edge over its competition.
Mr. Pradeep Shankar
In a career span of 39 years, Mr. Shankar has worked in various positions in the banking industry.
He started his career as a Probationary Officer in State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur in the year 1971 and retired as Managing Director of State Bank of Indore.
Mr. Shankar has vast experience in commercial lending, syndications, restructuring, asset recovery, treasury operations and foreign exchange.
He is M.Sc. (Physics) from Meerut University and CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai.
Mr. Prashant Lohia
Prashant Lohia is one of the co-founder members of Resurgent India. He is a CA (Chartered Accountant), MBA (Masters in Business Administration) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) gold medalist by qualification. Prashant has 15 years of experience in providing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions to clients from various business sectors and serving as CEO of Ginni Systems Limited ( www.ginesys.in ). In Resurgent India he plays a major role in making the strategies for future.
Mr. Manish Kedia
Manish Kedia is the youngest co-founder member of Resurgent India.
Being a CA by profession, his skillful eye for detail has helped Resurgent to implement some of the most complex debt syndication deals including ECB and Structured Debt in sectors ranging from real estate, power, hospitality, retail, infrastructure, life sciences and consumer goods & services.
Mr. Subhash Saraf
With degrees in law and commerce to his credit, Chartered Accountant Subhash Chandra Saraf advises the company on the structuring and the advisory part.
From direct & indirect taxes, corporate advisory to FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) & FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) practice, Subhash has hands on experience of over 25 years in all kinds of Financial matters.
Currently, he is also serving as Chairman – EIRC of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.
Mr. Punit Jain
Punit is heading the Kolkata operations of Resurgent and plays an active role in the debt division of the company on pan India basis.
He has completed his MS(Finance), CA, CS and CFA after graduating from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta.
He has been working with Resurgent India Ltd. since the start of his career. Over the last 5 years he has gained a lot of experience by working on diversified industry segments.
He has played a major role in setting up the Kolkata office from day one.

He is an FCA, PGDERA and a Certified Business Valuer.
Mr. Arindam Chakraborty
Arindam has roughly 20 years of work experience having worked in different industries i.e, Power, Banking and Consulting in various roles like Strategy, Product Management, Treasury Dealing, Operations, Credit Analysis ,Risk Assessment, Consulting etc.
He has worked for Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Limited, Bank of Baroda, Development Credit Bank and Dun & Bradstreet before joining Resurgent.
He is MBA(Finance), MS(Finance) and also a qualified SMP (Senior Management Professional) from IIM, Calcutta.
Mr. R R Sharma
Mr. Sharma has a rich experience of 40 Years in Banking.
He served as Chief General Manager – Canara Bank. He has headed Jamuna Gramin Bank and excelled in rural lending. He was instrumental in turnaround of the Bank from negative growth to top five RRB in India. He also is Adj. Professor Finance at IMI, New Delhi.
